Okay, I drew this on my vacation in France. I was determined to finish it before my birthday so I could smirk and say: 'I drew this when I was 15'.
 Silly.Anyway, I saw this image on a postcard I picked up in Lille, and *had* to draw it. It was so full of passion, I hope I got that down here, too. The original photo was taken by Rob Goldman. I used a mechanical HB pencil, a softer 5B for the dark bits (that kept on rubbing away - grrr), a putty eraser and a tortillon blending-stick-thing. I might redo his hands, they look a little rushed, but for now... enjoy! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
